Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Bwindi Forest
2 Day Uganda Gorilla Expedition Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet your driver-guide, and go to Bwindi Forest National Park. Experience this four-hour journey featuring breathtaking vistas of the Virunga volcanoes, Rwanda’s undulating hills, and the picturesque green hamlet of Kisoro. Upon arrival at Kisoro town, proceed to the Rushaga sector located in the southern region of Bwindi Forest National Park. A cultural visit may be possible in the evening, contingent upon time and weather conditions.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Departure
2 Days Uganda Gorilla Expedition from Kigali, Enjoy an early morning breakfast and, with your packed lunch, proceed to the Bwindi headquarters in Rushaga for a pre-gorilla trek briefing. You will be assigned to a group of seven other travelers and designated a gorilla family. Commence the jungle trip at 8:00 AM to encounter the gorillas. The duration of this hike may vary based on the gorillas’ location. During your encounter with gorillas, you will spend an hour in their company, appreciating their anthropomorphic traits, taking photographs, recording movies, and savoring this unique experience.
