Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
On the first day of the 4-Day Murchison Falls National Park Safari, your guide will collect you from your residence in Kampala and commence a scenic drive northwest through the renowned Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, proceeding to Murchison with a lunch stop along the way. Proceed to Murchison Falls to visit the summit of the falls. Appreciate the sunset while driving to the lodge. Day 2: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
Commence the day with a cup of African coffee. Your guide will assist you with finding the elephant, lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena, and, if fortunate, the leopard. Revert to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. Following lunch, embark on a boat safari upstream on the tranquil Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, halting mere meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.” During the journey, observe the delectable hippos and crocodiles, and along this 17 km expanse, you may encounter elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda Kobs. The area is home to numerous avian species, including the Goliath heron, Egyptian geese, pelican, bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant, and the unusual shoebill stork. You disembark from the boat and commence your arduous trek to the summit of the Falls (about 1 hour). Observe the world’s longest river as it fiercely surges through a narrow fissure in the Rift Valley escarpment, cascading into a tumultuous pool 43 meters below. Revert to your Lodge. Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Today is allocated for an additional game drive in the southern region of Murchison Falls prior to proceeding to Ziwa Sanctuary in Masindi. Evening canoe excursion for the purpose of locating Shoebills, as well as for leisure and sightseeing near the lodge. Day 4: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Kampala/Entebbe
