Day i og 8 days of great Uganda primate and wildlife safaris, You will be collected from either the airport or your accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe and driven south to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, with a stop at the Equator and a break for lunch before continuing to the park. Evening meals and accommodation at: Lake Chahafi Resort and Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge.
DAY 02: Golden monkey trekking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Take breakfast in the morning and meet at the park headquarters for an orientation from the park rangers regarding the protocols for tracking golden monkeys. Begin the notable exercise in the forest, an endeavor that may last 1 to 9 hours contingent upon the pace of these human relatives. Convene and remain with them for a maximum duration of one hour following your return from the jungle, after which you will go to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 03: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Forest
Day 3 of 8 days of great Uganda primate and wildlife safaris, Following breakfast at the resort, you will proceed to the park headquarters for an orientation from the Uganda Wildlife Authority warden guides, who will assign you a gorilla family group for that day’s trek. Upon confirmation of your group of eight individuals, the two ranger escorts will escort you into the dense, impenetrable jungle to begin your search for the endangered rare species of Mountain Gorillas. The search for the gorilla consistently resumes from the location where it was last observed the preceding day. Upon arrival at the location of these renowned animals, interaction will be permitted for only one hour, and complete silence must be maintained in the presence of the Gorillas. Photography and similar activities are permitted.
Gorilla tracking can be arduous, depending upon the day’s trip, typically influenced by weather conditions and the gorillas’ movements within the forest. However, due to the meticulous organization of the activity, there is a 99% likelihood of encountering the gorillas during your expedition. The expedition is led by skilled trackers who continuously observe gorilla movements throughout the day in the jungle. This enables them to ascertain the location of the previous night’s nesting site, which serves as the starting point for the search. Two ranger guides will escort you throughout the walk, clearing paths, establishing new pathways, and imparting knowledge about the mountain gorillas and Bwindi Forest. Upon completion of the journey, you will return to the starting site to collect your certificates, signifying your successful tracking of mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 04: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 4 of 8 days of great Uganda primate and wildlife safaris, Following breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon, with scheduled breaks for sightseeing along the way. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive a warm greeting and proceed with check-in for relaxation. Subsequently, you will embark on an evening wildlife drive to seek late grazers, followed by a return to the lodge for overnight accommodation.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most renowned and diverse conservation area, featuring various habitats including grassland, acacia woodland, forests, wetlands, and open water. This ecological diversity supports a wide array of mammals, prominently including the Big Four, as well as an impressive avian population exceeding 604 bird species

DAY 05: Morning Safari and Afternoon Boat Excursion in Kazinga Channel
Day 5 of 8 days of great Uganda primate and wildlife safaris, Following your breakfast, you will proceed to Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive to observe early bird animals. Among the species you will observe are elephants, extensive herds of buffalo, leopards, lions, bushbucks, kobs, antelopes, and more.

If not engaging in a game drive, you may visit the Katwe Salt Lakes before proceeding to Kibale National Park, with a lunch stop along the route. During the influx, you will embark on a nature walk into the Bigodi Swamp, featuring remarkable views of indigenous monkeys and birds.
Kibale Forest National Park hosts 13 monkey species and over 335 bird species, rendering it a favored locale for avian enthusiasts and primate aficionados.

Day 07: Chimpanzee Tracking in kibale forest national park
