Serengeti National Park Fees 2025-2026, Entrance fees to Serengeti National Park are determined by the residency status of the visiting tourist. There are three tiers of park fees, in addition to the rates for Peak and Low Seasons. Citizens, residents, and non-residents (foreign tourists) of East Africa. East African Citizens encompass Tanzanian nationals holding a valid National ID or Tanzanian passport, as well as citizens from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan with valid passports. Residents denotes individuals of any nationality living in Tanzania with appropriate documents from the Tanzanian government, whereas the term “Non Residents” or “Foreign Tourists” pertains to foreign visitors who do not reside in Tanzania.
The entry fees for non-residents (foreign tourists) to Serengeti National Park are USD 70 per adult per 24 hours during the peak season (May 16 – March 14) and USD 60 per adult per 24 hours during the low season (March 15 – May 15). Children aged 5 to 15 years are charged USD 20 per 24 hours during both Peak and Low seasons. These tariffs are subject to an 18% VAT.
Children below the age of 5 are permitted access at no charge.

In addition to the Park Fees, there are Concession Fees applicable to guests residing in any Camp, Lodge, or Hotel within Serengeti National Park. During the peak season (July to September), the hotel concession fee for international tourists in Serengeti is USD 60 per adult per 24 hours and USD 10 per child (ages 5 to 15) per 24 hours. In low season (October to June), the hotel concession fee for international guests in Serengeti is USD 50 per adult per 24 hours and USD 10 per child (ages 5 to 15) per 24 hours. An 18% VAT is applicable to all the aforementioned prices.
